The Workshop will provide an exciting environment for the discussion of recent theoretical, experimental and computer simulation developments in the field of auxetics and other unusual systems. This scientific meeting is joint with three other scientific events:

The Workshop is focused on, but not restricted to, the following topics:
- Auxetic materials - properties and applications.
- Experimental studies of auxetic materials.
- Mechanisms leading to auxetic behaviour.
- Metamaterials.
- Multifunctional systems incorporating auxetic behaviour.
- Systems at unusual conditions (e.g. systems at negative pressure).
- Systems of special properties (e.g. "negative systems" - systems of negative thermal expansion, systems with inclusions of negative stiffness, composites of hierarchical structures, systems of extreme hardness, layers and films of unusual properties etc.).
- Theoretical and computer simulation methods for modelling auxetics and other systems of special mechanical properties.
